Officer Ernest Prowler is a former police officer of Police Station and nephew of Police Chef Eugene Prowler. After TC and the gang accidentally get Officer Dibble relieved of duty briefly, Prowler is put in charge of Dibble's beat. However in response to Prowler being less lenient in duty than Dibble, Top Cat sets in motion a plan to restore the status quo. In the fanfic "Coronavirus in New York", he reappears as Officer Dibble's work partner and he has a cat named Katy.
